- encouragement and stimulation of creative activity of animators and media-artists;

- popularization of contemporary animation in Russia.

This year the projectLINOLEUM announces the selection of works for competitive participation on for the first time, which is entitled “Re-Animation”. 

The Festival Jury will select four principal nominees during the Fest.

The winners will be awarded to the Grand-Prix, prizes and monetary prizes.

The Fest will be held with the support of «Michael Tsarev Art Projects».

The total prize fund of the Festival is $5000 (USD).

The selection of works for the participation in the Fest will be carried out by the Organizing Committee and the Jury. According to the selection results the names of the authors as well as the titles of their works will be published on the official Fest website.

The number of works presented by one participant is unlimited. The works are accepted without any strict thematic limitation, but under the common title “Re-Animation”.

- creation period of the work is the years 2012-2013;

- the duration of the video is not regulated;

- animation portion must be no less then 30%;

- subtitles in English or Russian (if the works are presented in other languages);

- only the works that haven’t participated in other contests and fests in the Russian Federation can be accepted.

All the works sent to the Fest are not commented on or returned. The organizers are obligated to reserve confidentiality and the author’s rights of the Fest’s competitors.

The selection of works for the Fest will be held till June 1, 2013.
The Organizing Committee will inform the producers (directors) about the results of the selection till June 15, 2013.

You can submit work to the festival on the disks by mail or through the Internet by sending a link to download the file.

1) In case of sending the work on disk by mail to the organizing committee of the festival you should send the address is «Animation Community», postbox 2, Moscow, 115682 

1.1. Work in the DVD format (4x3 or 16x9), written down on a DVD disk. DVD disc should contain only one movie without the menu. The disk shouldn't be protected from copying. (It is preferable to write down a disk in region 0, format PAL). 

2.Work in the best original quality (FULL HD, HD and more low), which you have, in any format, written down on a DVD or CD disk.

3.Information about the film written down on a DVD or CD disk for the catalogue and press-release:

-fill the film questionnaire

-concise description of the work (not more than 500 characters)

-detailed description of work (not necessarily)

-screenshots (enough 3 frames with 300 dpi)

-photos of the director and the production designer (resolution 300 dpi)

-contact information and concise biography of the author or information about studio

-dialog sheets are recommended
